1. What are the areas of EMPHASIS? How did you use the elements of art to make them stand out? Elements are: color, value, shape, size, texture, line.... or other visual effects?
The emphasis if the Empire state building because it's the largest shape on the bag. I put a white apple shape behind the empire state building in order to create a contrast. 

2. How did you use elements to lead our attention around the bag?
The shape of the empire state building is the biggest shape in my design, and that's also the emphasis. Then I use different color on the people to show that they are famous in different places.

3. What software techniques or design ideas made your work unique?
I use different layers during this project, and it helps me to put things in order.

4. How does your design relate to and describe the word you were given?

I used the word venerable around the bag, and it goes around the bag. 
My word is Venerable which means old and respected so I think it related to History, so I use kind of a dark brown color as the background to shows that everything is old.

QUESTIONS

1. Where was the Bauhaus School located?
The Bauhaus was founded by Walter Gropius in Weimar, Germany in 1919, then the school moved to Dessau in 1924.

2. When was it in existence?
The school existed in three German cities: Weimar from 1919 to 1925, Dessau from 1925 to 1932 and Berlin from 1932 to 1933, the school was closed by its own leadership under pressure from the Nazi regime, having been painted as a centre of communist intellectualism.

3. What is different about the Bauhaus' design work from the designs that came before it?
The school favored simplified forms, rationality and the idea that mass production could in harmony with the artistic spirit of individuality. The most difference about Bauhau's design work is that it conclude different terms of art in their design, the bauhaus combined elements of both arts and design education. The curriculum commenced with a preliminary course that immersed the students, who came from a diverse range of social and educational backgrounds, in the study of materials, color theory, and formal relationships in preparation for more specialized studies.

Venerable 

My second word is Venerable, and it's a adjective. It usually use to describe famous people who contributed positively to the world. For example, like Mother Teresa.To be venerable is to be admired and respected because of your status or age. You become venerable by achieving great things or just by living long enough. It can also be a brand or something that you adore.                    
 

My Word

LOGIC

My word is "Logic", and it means The study of the principles of reasoning. When we talk about logic, the first thing that appeared to my mind is our brain, because our brain controls our body in a logic way so that we can walk, talk and do exercise what ever we want. Our parents and teachers taught us logic way to fix problems. But logic also has a bad side, because it might put good ideas in prison.

My Book Series

This is my first design and it's about lines. The emphasis of this design is the middle right flower shape, I put several flower among each top so it kind of create a 3D vision. My theme of this book is about fashion world and this represents the chaos in the world, where designers have so many ideas. However, their idea will be conclude at the end as a final piece, and the big flower shape represents that.

 

This is my second piece in my book. The emphasis of the piece is the kind of tower shape on the left, and I got inspired by the Pearl Tower in Shanghai. The pearl tower is the landmark of shanghai, and shanghai is the business center of China. It's a city combined with economy and fashion, so this is why I choose to emphasis it.

This is my third piece in my book. and I put lots of my own idea in this design and I want to emphasis the big star in the middle of the piece. I think there is not a exactly definition for "Fashion", because people have different opinion about fashion. In this piece, I should varied shape and lines to represents different ideas. 

This is my last piece in my book, and this is the only color page. The emphasis is absolutely the greenish blue thing in the middle, and this piece is how I define fashion in my heart. I use lots of symbols and shapes in this design. I think Fashion world is like a magic kingdom, which hide in the forest and this is why I put some green shape at the bottom. For the word "KK" which is my nickname that I like to use when I design.

This is one of the work from Sagmeister. and I like this picture because it gives me lots of idea about this chair. In my opinion, this is not just a simple chair because Sagmeister created the chair with a book or a notebook thing. I think he makes the chair has personality and motions like human, because reading books always help people to do something in their life. 

This is another picture from Sagmeister's work shop, and it was created by coffee cups. I think this idea is very unique, and it makes our life more closer to art. People always think designers and artists are far away from their life, but this art work shows that creating art work can be everywhere in our life. 

I like this picture because I think it's very simple and clean. There are lots of lines and shapes in the picture, and they are the essential elements to the picture. I think the designer is in a very free and relax mood, so everything in this picture looks very clam and pure.

This is a picture that I took from last week, and the sun almost went down during that time. The sun is absolutely the theme in this picture, and it's very beautiful. The lines from the electric wires and it makes our eye move through the wires. There are many varieties in picture and it attracts people's attention.

This is a picture from the corner of my room, and I open the lamp to emphasis the light and my little desk. There are lot of varieties in this picture including the pillow, my iPad pro, the water bottle and my lamp. And the lines from the lamp, the desk and my bad goes toward to the lamp.

This is a picture from the corner of our school cafeteria, and I take this picture above the people to emphasis the flag. The flag is the theme because it's colorful and it's different than other subjects. There are lots of varieties in the picture because you can see all kind of lines
